Easy Marinated Mushrooms Recipe

Whenever it comes to sauteing mushrooms you need 3 things: a base, an additive for flavor, and of course heat. Now if you have multiple additives it’s important to make the flavors blend with the base. Now for this recipe, everything is so simple there is no need to overthink anything. Simple and delicious is sometimes the best way to go.

  • Clean the mushrooms with fresh filtered water and a produce cleaner. Let sit 10 min. Then rinse thoroughly. I choose to pop out the stems but that is up to you.
  • Add together the mushrooms, water, and butter to the stove on medium heat.
  • Add 3 good pinches of merlot salt to taste.
  • Saute on medium for 10-15 min until done. Serve and enjoy. Paired here with leg of lamb, mini calzones, and White Zinfandel.
