  • The best thing about smoothies is how easy they are to make! Slice up your fruit into manageable chunks excluding all seeds and skins. Put all ingredients into a blender with 1-2 cups of ice depending on how thick you want it and blend up the goodness. Pour and drink up! *For all fruit you can use frozen or fresh at your discretion. I use fresh except for dragon fruit which is hard to find. *Tip: Many stores such as Safeway and Whole Foods have fresh fruit already sliced for you that you can purchase or you can try Amazon Fresh with a free trial at the link on the right side.

Charity, thanks for sharing this smoothie recipe.   I am hoping to start eating more earthy and to stop skipping meals.   I think smoothies will help with that.   This smoothie recipe is different because it uses dragon fruit.  I am not sure what it is. I will have to google it.  I  I know the local fruit stand that I go to has some “exotic” fruits so maybe they  carry dragon fruit. Wish me luck. 🙂

    1. I use frozen dragon fruit from the grocery store most of the time which is easier if that helps. Happy cooking!
